Hello,
I have backed up several of my original DVD's using DVD Shrink. I have never had any problems until now...I am trying to backup my DVD of The Mask (excellant movie I might add).

I usually use reauthor mode with no problems. When I try to do "The Mask" all I see is a few folder, none of which contain the main movie only title or any contents equivelant to main movie size?

- Just out of curiousity I clicked on Analysis and got this message:
Analysis of this DVD is not necessary, because either no compression was applied, or the compressed parts have alreadt been analysied.

- Thought I would try Full Disc Mode and got this:
DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.
Invalid DVD Navigation Structure.

I tried both full and widescreen versions, the disc is in perfect condition and clean.....?

What does this mean and how do you get around it?
Can this movie be backed up:confused:

It sounds like it doesn't need any compression (i.e. it is under 4.38GB).

Try using DVD Decrypter and see what the size is. If it fits under 4.38GB then use Decrypter's ISO read mode and create a ISO image of the DVD. Then use Decrypter's ISO write mode to burn the disc.

BTW, Shrink 3.1.7.6 can also make ISO's. It will also load decypter and start burning automatically. Therefore, Decrypter may also be useful in the future as a free burning application.

Yep the R2 "The Mask" is a single layer disc eventhough it has some extras and features. I also thought it would "definetly" be dual layer when I bought it and watched it.

I backup the Mask last year. Its single layer. No compression is needed!
