any chance autoGK will be made to make MKV files with multiple sound stream and subtitels built in and chapter marks?

you bet - the moment there will be a standalone which supports all features above I'll start working on MKV support :D
as the new sigmadesign chip based players (like the new kiss) will handle mp4, when will we see support for it in autogk? :D

how about chapter markers? do stand alone players support that in some sort of other format?

kiss said with mp4 they will support chapters (and subs, which many players also dont support with avi), but lets wait till it is here as len0x said ;)

listen... i understand standalones are cool i dont have one but plan on getting one. but shouldnt i have the option in autogk to make an mkv? or the option of making it stand alone compatible?
also while i have your attention whats a good stand alone to buy and where from?
