i've been using DVD Shrink for quite a while and haven't had any problems....i was trying to compress Spirited Away and it said that it couldn't be compressed...i've never had this happen before and was wondering why it couldn't be compressed...thanks

Not much help but I've used on DVD Shrink on a UK version of Spirited Away with no problems.

There is a limit to how much shrinking is possible. You can shrink to your hard drive, then open those files with DVDShrink and shrink them again.

I would be very carefull about shrinking & shrinking again. If the disc would need 50% compression or more - I would consider forgetting about the extras and just reauthor the film. If you really want the extras as well you could split to 2 DVD's using IfoEdit or use Shrink to reA the film on one disc and put the extras on the other by selecting still pictues on the film and so keeping the menu structure for the extras disc.

What version of shrink are you using?

If memory serves me spirited had 2 viewing angles (jap/eng moving mouths), and its probably seeing both as 1 movie = 10gigs or more.

Try using a different version of shrink.
