subtitle stream problem

I've successfully backed up Big Fish with one little problem: the English subtitle stream for a particular segment in a foreign language lingers once it has played.

There are two English subtitle stream on the DVD. One is the full English subtitle stream and the other is just a short subtitle stream that plays for a couple of minutes somewhere in the middle of the movie. The back-up that I've made forces the latter substream to start when the DVD is played. Nothing shows up until a foreign language is spoken. The stream plays fine until the last foreign words are spoken. The subtitles then remain on the screen.

Anybody know how to add a command using IFO-Edit such that the stream, once it has played, is automatically switched off? Thanks.

I don´t know if this can be done in IfoEdit but each subtitle has specified time in which it is displayed. So you can try to check it (e.g. in subtitle script or directly in authoring software) and then reauthor again. It shouldn´t take so much time to do it...
