More and more stores are selling the slim DVD cases. They are about 33% thinner then the normal amaray dvd cases. The only problem is that I can't find the printable slim dvd case inserts anywhere. One possible solution is to buy the regular case inserts and then cut one side, but I really don't want to do this. Has anyone ever seen these slim dvd case inserts or do you know if ther are even being made?

Thanks for the reply.

After some hours of google searching, I found that Memorex makes the paper dvd inserts for the slim dvd cases. :D

If anyone else is interested:

From the product description it seems that they can be used in both standard and slim dvd cases.

Excuse me, but why not buy normal photo quality glossy or coated paper in A4 size (yes, the world uses A4 not letter or other funny sizes) in 50 or 100pcs packs for FAR less than this weird pre-cut-to-size "insert" size?

What will they think of next, packaging toilet paper into nice colourful transparent boxes and pre-separating the sheets for comfort. :p

@joergen:

that's exactly what i was thinking when reading this topic. what's the point in paying 13$ (!!!) for 25 pre-cut inserts (about 0.50$ each) if you can just use standard A4 paper for just a few cents per sheet.

that's exactly what i'm doing to print my dvd-covers and it works great. i've got an epson c900 color-laser and i'm printing on epson color laser paper (roughly 0.03$ per sheet) and the quality is just amazing, looks (almost) like a commercially printed cover.
the only downside to this is that you have to use scissors and have to spend about 10seconds of your valuable time cutting the cover.

They actually have that in stores (no joke) and it is scented to smell like flowers. :)

I don't think $0.50 a label is that bad.
