How to Update the Firmware to a Pioneer DVDR 106D??

Hi, i've been trying to update the firmware of my DVD Burner (Pioneer 106D) without success.. When i run the firmaware updater it says that the target drive wasnt found or something. I tried using a hacked firmare but it happens the same thing.

Anyone have this same problem?

Your answers are in the forum there. When I did mine (about 6 months ago) there was a single package that had everything in it. You ran a shortcut and it executed the command for you (granted, it was a command with only 3 switches). If you're not using it, try it. Like I said, your answers are on that site.

Does the drive need to be the master on its IDE channel?
