Who the hell is "The eDealer" and why does he think its ok to copy my guides and present them as his own at Gleitz.de ?

What a damm cheek steeling my hard work without even asking if its Ok and mentioning "with permission of the Author maa at Doom9 Forum" and to do so as if he is the Author!

My guides are all posted here but the picture versions are on another server

Here my Play All Guide

You probably should have put a signature or a copyright statement on your guides. Otherwise it's not obvious that it's your original work. Perhaps, the guy is just collecting info piece by piece from the Internet like many of us do. Maybe he even translated it himself. You should try to straighten it out with him through that web site.

edealer is a member of the official German Doom9-Forum (as I am too!)
the german doom9 forum is hosted on gleitz.de

I hope I've cleared this up.
If not, I will post this issue on forum.gleitz.de

Sorry, maa.
That was my fault !! :o

I mark it as translated, not as mine. I thought that the doom9 boards dont have to clear each share of know how.
That was my fault!!

Many members of the german board dont understand the english version, so the translation was only a service for them.

What can i (we) do ?? :(
An aditional mark with "maa", a link to your site or a shut down of the guides ??

No its not cleared up - you don't go around "gathering up" other peoples work without asking for permission.
I came across them by chance and was quite shocked. (yes I'm a real newbie at this sort of thing I know)

Yes please ask him to remove them or contact me - kind of you to offer.

thanks

maa

Ok,

we're crossing posts here a bit timewise.
I never heard of Gleitz.de so I didn't know it was connected.

If you put me as Author in the header and reference the source page then its ok to leave them up.

Thanks for the sense.
In future I will synchronize everything.

We will represent you as the original author of course.
