Using Nero Express 5.5.10.54 on a P4/2.4GHz, 1GB RAM. If I do a burn of AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS, using DVD mode on Nero, the burn goes fine but the Verify fails...CONSISTENTLY, but not 100% of the time.
If I take the SAME FILES, use the SAME Nero, and build an ISO image of the folders, then use DVDDecryptor to burn the image to disk, with verify, every thing goes flawlessly, all the time.
This happens with different brands of DVD-R blanks and when burning from different drives in my PC. It happens with DVD-5 (NOT transcoded) and also with DVD-9 (I use DVD2One). It happens when using a Pioneer 104 and an I/OMagic 4X +/- drive.
Obviously, I have installed/uninstalled SOMETHING which has caused this, but for the life of me I cannot figure out what I've done. Can anyone explain, in "simple" terms, what the difference in verify is between these 2 softwares? Thank you.
