Hi everyone,

I'm running Windows XP Pro and use Outlook Express to check e-mail. I'm keep getting prompted for password and it says click OK or Cancel. So i click ok and keep clicking ok but the password box is keep coming up so i click Cancel but i get some errors. The errors will be below.

There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'pop.epix.net', Server: 'pop.epix.net', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR mail storage services unavailable, wait a few minutes and try again.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

My password is rejected. How do i fix that?? I can't check my e-mail in Outlook Express. I can't check my e-mail through webmail. I can't check my password on my DSL Provider website. I can't even try to change the password. I can't do anything to fix the problem. It's been like this more then 12 hours straight or maybe less but cutting close to 12 hours with no e-mail. Any help would be appreciated. I'm waiting for an e-mail from an Administrator on a different forum. Thanx everyone.

Your e-mail service from your ISP is out then. I've gotten a couple of those messages in Outlook when my email server has been messed up. One thing you could do is double check all the settings in Outlook Express and see if any have changed. If that's no help either wait or call your ISP.

I get this error message all the time from my ISP mail server (yes they suck) there might be planned maintenance (check the web site?) or just down because of a new virus etc. Make sure you have typed everything correct, but i guess its the servers fault not yours.
this msg "-ERR mail storage services unavailable, wait a few minutes and try again." tells you all you need to know ;)

Yeh I had the same annoying problem with my Outlook.

Turns out it was a problem BT's end  Why did it take 10 emails from their so called tech support team to just tell me that :p

Mines fine at the minute, though sometimes it opos up now and then.
