Hi,

I just installed the XviD-1.0-RC4-05042004 (koepi's build), but now when I play one of my old avi (encoded with an old xvid u'Maniac build, from 2002), the quality is really poor (of course quality was great with the old decoder).
I searched a little bit and the only tip I found was to install a new ffdshow, what I did (ffdshow-20040508).
I also installed the XviD-Dec-1.0-Beta3, found on koepi's site, although I don't really know what it is... (I'm a newbie with all that  )

Thank you for any help, and if you need more info, simply ask :)

What is the resolution of the file? Also bframes? qpel? GMC? Although 2002 I guess none of them were implimented.

Mmm I'm sorry I just can say the resolution is 750x544. How do I determine the others ? I don't remember the encoding settings I used at this time.... but I encoded lots of things with this one, and I'd like to watch them correctly ! :(

750x544 is a typo and you mean 720x544?
You can use AviCheck to see if it uses bframes, etc.

Thanx ! Of course it was a typo and it's 720, sorry.
