I still don't see a codec. Just a media player for their propietary(?) container (which might be also some renamed mkv or ogm stuff, didn't check yet).

I wonder why they call that "codec hdv" as it's about a container?

looks like a little bit more advanced then MKV with the Menu system
but therfore they seem to lack interoperability with other Operating Systems for now

I install the Video Player, which in fact also include a viewer. I found a website http://www.the-demo.com where it is possible to see thousand of samples. As far as I can see , the same plugin can do like macromedia flash and associated with the player can do Interactive Video :). Do any one have one have a link to a full video as I don't want to pay to see the codec running ?

I also installed it (it comes with an uninstaller). There is no separate codec installed. AFAICS the player uses a built in decoder.

yes its just a container non interoperable for now (player bounded)
it uses directshow here only the menu demuxing ect is internal
also you are bound to the resolution of the video means no fullscreen if it has interactive content very shity if you ask me

That is missinformation it's only another container more not at least the videos useing DivX which was dissalowed by DXN for this Site
btw you did a purely job here you should stayed with demo coding ;)

Well in my opinion it's pants.... And I can't be bothered to test it and further. I've already deleted it from my system.

If porn's your thing then there's plenty of it available on the web for free, requiring no special player.

hehe yes and not only that if you watched a example from this xsuprise site you'll see that it uses also a content encryption system but now hold on hehe it's a analog system "field based permutation" ala Nagravision LOL sorry i cant stop loughing about this new container and Player this is the most terrible Commercial solution i ever saw "outdated system" :D

Analogue it maybe but NagraVision was hellishly secure. Undoubtedly the most secure analogue encryption system. From what I remember Germany and Spain were the biggest users!
