Hi,
I know that for CD's, data CD's are written with extra error correction compared with audio CD's and video CD's (only 2048 bytes data per sector compared to 2352 bytes for audio/video). Am I right in thinking that with DVD's, it is all the same? With important audio content I always used to keep a .wav backup on a data CD as well as burning an audio CD. If I am creating DVD's for extra security should I back up the MPEG2's.
