Finding out time remaining?

Is there any way of finding out how long an encode has got left? As CCE encodes each segment separately, the time left is just for that segment. I don't know how many segments there are either, so I can't even predict. Any way of doing this?

The "Overall" progress bar should tell you how far along you are and give you a percentage of completion during encoding.

That wouldn't be a bad idea. It would be hard to make it terribly accurate but then again, how many time estimators withing applications are accurate when the process isnt totally linear.

I think that's a watse of time, it won't be accurate and the percentage is about as close as it will be. I bet that would take more PC power too, not much perhaps, but more
