Mac OS X DVD Player -- Need Help!

Hi I'd like to be able to change the region code on my iBook with ease can someone please point me to either a stand alone player that allows this easily, or simply a tool to change the built in player?

I don't know if you can change the region code of your iBook's DVD player indefinetely. I have no experience with iBooks but usually most DVD drives allow you to change it limited times. After you reach that limit the region will stay locked to the last region selected. So be careful whatever you do. If you're looking for other software DVD players I can suggest you to check out videolan and mplayer.

As for standalone players I think you can probably find some region-free players in the market if you search a bit and they are quite cheap too (around 50 euros).
