Hi everyone,

I have done the movies "Kill Bill" and "Matrix Revolutions" using DVD Rebuilder 0.45 and 0.46, and they are both doing something wrong and strange (but only on some players, others are playing fine for example PS2).

Let me explain :

On a Philips 950, we can't pause/continue during movie playback. If we try to press Pause/Stop the TV shows that it's pausing but the movie continues :( .....
So once the movie starts, we can not have a break LOL, we have to see it all the way..

Anyone experiencing this?

Thanks,
Regards,

Fenix (FJorgeR).

What do you mean?
What's even more strange is that I started over again but this time with BIG3, and guess what? Everything works fine, even on the Philips!

Strange, right?

Well Philips has come up in other threads in relation to subtitles not working (almost all complaints of this subject are with Philips players). And now pause not working? Another feather to the Philips hat :D

BIG3 is old, dvd-rb is new. Just like the Philips firmware, dvd-rb has bugs.

As in my case (Philips 743), Fenix's 950 is an older model. Seems though that the latest Philips models (e.g. 727) work OK.

My philips 793C works great, and its over a year and a half old now. Actually its the only player in the house that displays subtitles, can puase, plays straight through without skipping chapters, and doesnt stutter... (JVC, Pioneer, Another Pioneer, and GE respectively. And the pioneers are pretty old and probly just on the way out, so I doubt its Rebuilders fualt)
