ffdshow postprocessing + different decoder

Just a question:

can ffdshow be used as a postprocesser, and do the real decoding with some other codec? I mean that i have an mpeg2 coded video, but ffdshow's mpeg2 support is broken. I want to use the good and fast postprocessing (ffdshow) because the video contains heavy blocking.

so it is posible to use ffdshow along with an another codec?

if you enable in ffdshow under "codecs", i think its called "raw" or so, than ffdshow will be used in the graph and can be used for postprocessing also with other decoders

why not turn to avs
ffdshow can be regarded as GUIed avs
But ffdshow surpports avi (excluding vp6,wmv9)wonderfully
