Hi All

I am a newbie to D2SRoba having just downloaded and installed the V3.50. package. I have been attempting to convert AVI to DVD format. I have attempted several different movies all with the same failure. The process fails during MkIsoFs with the following log entry (time date varies of course).. always at 99.87%

Last Two Lines of MkIsoFsLog
99.87% done, estimate finish Sun May 9 15:37:20 2004
/cygdrive/c/Program Files/DVD2SVCD/DVDAuthor/mkisofs: No space left on device. cannot fwrite 32768*1.

I use Win2K FAT 32 with at least 30Gb of HDD space. The failure is probably because of the FAT 32 file size limitation of 4GB? If this is the case is there a workaround (other than perhaps reducing DVD size to under 4 GB)?

Regards

The 4gb limit is your problem. You can go into the CDImage tab and disabe MkIsoFs, then just burn the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS to your DVD. Or as r6d2 suggest use%SYSTEMROOT%\system32\convert.exe %SYSTEMDRIVE% /FS:NTFS
