Hi

I'm recording a TV serie with an DVD-RECORDER. In a normal DVDRIP, SMARTRIPPER tells you the ac3 delay. But recording from the TV, I need the program Cuttermaran to cut the video/audio (to avoid the commercials).

The AC3 files are cutted perfectly, but I need to know the delay of theese new AC3 files to work with them.

Exits any tool to view the delay of an AC3 file?

Thanks in advance.

In terms of vobs you can try using vobedit to get the audio/video delay.

AC3 files themselves don't have a delay embedded in them though.

My problem is with AC3 files cuttered in two or three parts. I need to know the correct delay of these parts. I don't know if CUTTERMARAN creates AC3 files with delay 0 from the original AC3 file. Sometimes the AC3 files cuttered are in perfect sync, but not always.

Anyway, Thank you for your info :)
