I'm not sure about this since I cannot find any registered XVID filters with SysEnum (except ffdshow, which is what I'm using)
I think MPC was able to play XVID before I had ffdshow installed - but maybe it was using an XVID decoder from another player (like Core MP which is also installed).
The reason I'm asking this is because I'd like to burn an XVID video for a friend with almost no computer knowledge and I'd like to include MPC on the CD so he can just play the vid right away without installing a codec. Or should I rather include Core MP on the CD?
