View Full Version : Divx encoding settings database - what is your divx setting?

I think a sort of encoding settings database would be very useful especially for compare our settings with other people settings.
Maybe we can post here our most frequently-used settings and their purpose (I use it for quality videos, I use it for max-space saving,ecc..
Maybe we can use the divx setting-string.
What do you think?

All encodings in no less than 1100kbits datarate, always using Pshycho on Fast mode, 2-pass, always "Home Theater" Profile with b-frames, the 2-passes in Standard mode (slower or slowest din't gave me any quality improvements justificable to the big low time.

With that setting I am more than happy, all my encodings have almost dvd quality on the picture, i always use 704x288 or 704x304 depending on the aspect ratio.
