Amnon82,

I tested your method, it functions well.

The DTS with "Surcode Cd Pro DTS" is definitely better.
The size proves it, it is multiplied by 3.It is an experiment of my share.

Moreover, I noticed that the frequency of 48Khz is not accepted by this 2 software.

Can one make DTS 6.1 and not "7.1" with "Adobe Audition" and to use "Wavelab 5.0" or "Magic samplitude7.0" like source of conversion?

Thank you in advance.

-> you need the DVD version of Surcode ;)

Daphy, thank you very much for this small precision ;)

Other observations:
- with this method the file 5.1 ac3 obtained is more audiophile that the DTS.It is very soft with the low deep ones.

Whereas the DTS is detached by its clearness of the restitution from the voice and the instruments.
It is squarer than the ac3 and proposes a powerful sound.

- By comparing the guide of Amnon82 with that of "CDDTS.NET", I noticed that the essence of the treatment is justified with the quality of the software.
In conclusion, the selection of the software proposed by CDDTS misses punch, and the result is affected.

NOTE: sorry for my translation

Still today I use this Old tutorial to make my AC3,
I only started to use 1 or 2 different plugins/Effects but the essential is the same, (Some time i use QXpander from QTools and WaveSurround from Wave Arts).
For me this tutorial is the best.
I judge, Amnon82 and Surroundboy have lost:

xw2ac3_8504.rar and
Stereoto5.1AC3.pdf
BeSweetv1.5b26.zip

Dear, Surroundboy and Amnon82, if you want, i have this in my hold HDD, if want i send this to you
the links are dead :(
Thanks
