Making Small Clips From A Dvd Movie

Hi everyone and please excuse my lack of knowledge on the subject but what i was wanting to do was make small clips of parts if my dvd to keep on my computer. Probably just 10-20 seconds max. I really have no idea how to do it and was wondering if there was a simple program that can do this or someone could point me into the right direction for a basic way to do this

Download DVD Shrink, the latest being 3.1.7.6

Open your DVD by selecting Open Disc. Once it has completed its quick analysis , click on Re-author
Select the title you wish to rip and drag it over to the left hand side of the screen under DVD Structure. Click on the set start/end icon. When you are happy with the where it begins and ends click ok.

Then simply click backup, from select target device choose hard disk folder. Amend the other preferences to suit you and click ok.

Should only take a few seconds for a 10-20 second clip.
