Is there a way so that after rebuilding is complete, RB would create an iso using imgtool or something else thats open source so all wed have to do is load the iso and burn?

You can however, it is not an automatic process. I use ImageTool with every burn. Just point ImageTool to the Video_TS folder when DVD-RB is done. BUT, remove the D2VAVS folder from the working folder before you create the image. When I did not remove the folder, ImageTool makes a larger than expected ISO. Apparently it is doing something with the D2VAVS folder. I just cut and paste the D2VAVS folder to another directory. Create the ISO image, then burn with DVDDecrypter.

yeah thats what im doing. if RB could create the directories seperately and then run imgtool it could possibly even burn the dvd all within one step.

Would you want to test out the files first before you burn. that way you dont waste a disc and/or waste time burning something if it doesnt work properly.

Irosado,

Yeah, I test the files. Acutally, I test the working direcotry when DVD-RB is done. Then I test the ISO again to make sure it's good. Then I burn and test the disc before it leaves the PC. Guess I'm a bit anal. Heh.

I dont use ISO's but I test the output of dvd-rb in windvd, then edit the menus if needed and remove warnings and test again, then I test once in powerdvd, then I burn, then test in standalone, then read-test with dvdspeed, then print label onto disc if applicable :D

I hate coasters.
