Hello,
I'm trying to transcode Master & Commander.
I'm usind DVD-RB 0.46 & CCE 2.5.
I'm using the updated EClcce (or something) for CCE & that modified dll as well.
Prepare --> no problems
Encode --> vaf creation = ok but with the m2v encoding is something wrong.
During vaf my bitrate is about 3Mbps, during m2v it's only 0.8Mbps.
My first VOB is 135MB, all others after that 10KB.
What am I doing wrong?

Install avisynth properly and copy the mpeg2decdg.dll to its plugins dir.

Avisynth 2.51 is installed correct (I installed it as part of DVD2SVCD) & mpeg2decdg.dll (modified one) is in it's folder.
I read all the setup & installation threads here, I don't think I missed anything (al least I hope).

Open the .m2v and see what is in it. Seems alot like youll find an avisynth error in there.

Nero opens my .m2v's, they don't play (well). Black screen with a few red lines at the bottom.
What program do I have to use to see if it is indeed a avisynth error?
I've got Avisynth 2.51 (came with DVD2SVCD).
I also updated mpeg2decdg.dll, it's in my avisynth plugin folder.
.vaf creation is normal, transcoding is not.

Options ---> setup Set the path for MPEG2DEC3DG.DLL in the SETUP screen.
I think that will fix your problem.

In some other thread they spoke about uninstall 2.54 then again install avisynth 2.54.
edit:
I think you must install 2.54 .
i had the same problem with the avisynth that came with the dvd2svcd.

As if it wasnt obvious enough, DVD2AVI is a great tool for viewing MPEG2 files in detail.
If you want an mplayer decoder that can handle any resolution withouth garbling the picture, the Elecard MPEG2 Decoder comes to mind.

Try to open with window media. It may tell you what is the problem.

Damn, the Encode phase went correct now but Rebuild failed.
"DVD-Rebuilder experienced a buffer overflow. Error #0004"
.m2v files play correct in my media player althought there isn't any sound, I'm not sure it's supposed to be like that because I haven't been able to get a DVD working with DVD-RB.
Tnx for any help

These m2v do not have sound in it.
Bad luck I think you've got a bug.
Try another one and I am sure it works fine.

Other DVD.
Look in the sticky's if you have everything installed right.
You can also check in rejig mode if the movie rebuilds fine.
