Different Language Audio

When I ripped the T2 movie with SmartRipper, I chose the option to separate by chapters. Different chapters would play with different language audiotracks. However if I chose the entire movie as a single .VOB file, it would play as expected.

Is there something I can do to keep the English audiotrack even if I am separating by chapters?

I'm sure this is an idiosyncracy of your software player and they way the DVD was originally muxed. The player is probably choosing the first audio stream it comes across. When you split by chapters, the audio track that occurs first is probably pretty much random.

The english audio track is almost certainly still there, so keeping it isn't the issue. Since a player knows nothing about a VOB (i.e. multiple audio tracks) without an IFO, there's probably no way to get your player to always choose the english audio.

Why do you not use DVD Dec ??..best app for ripping out there.

Morpheus9, I tried DVDDecrypt and same difference.

Here is the reason sometimes I prefer to use SmartRipper:
You can choose which chapter to copy, you do not need to rip the entire movie and then delete the unwanted chapters.

More proof that it is at times harder to learn new things.
This is what i loved about GKnot for example,
the text which told you what to do (but then i got lost a bit, especially after unchecking the hide options stuff hehe)
