DVDRemake direct from DVD Drive, possible ?

Is that possible to use DVDRemake read directly from DVD drive
(to save HD space) ?

I've tried it but is seems not too stable. :(

I don't think DVDReMake can decrypt a DVD, so it probably won't work on CSS disks (it'd crap out trying to preview the cells if nothing else). It might work on non-CSS disks, but those are pretty rare.

I hear about people using AnyDVD to do on-the-fly decryption, so you might be able to get it to work that way. Or maybe not. I've never tried it so I don't really know.

Note that AnyDVD is $39, which is a healthy portion of the cost of a cheap second hard drive. You can get a 40 GB for as little as $70. That's large enough to host 4 or 5 DVD images. I believe a second hard drive (even a small one) would serve you better in the long run.

I've been using AnyDVD for do that,
I am just not sure which one is unstable, the DVDRemake or AnyDVD.
I can see the preview directly from the DVD Drive use the DVDRemake,
but while seeking sometimes it will crash. :(
