I was trying to use Descratch 0.2 plugin to do exactly what author suggested, that is to remove scratches from 8mm film captures. It appears that Descratch is able to detect most of the scratches, particularily larger ones, but when it comes to removing very often it fails. What happens is that sometimes it leaves a big spot(s) of dark colored pixel clusters in the position of former scratch "center". No parameter seems to be able to control this. Anyone has the same experience? Any solution? Thanks.
