I´ve made a old film (the final countdown) and I´ve tried with some denoisers. I like convolution, but, in some scenes this denoiser make a vertical lines, like a interlaced but vertical.
This film was interlaced and I´ve used some deinterlacers (smalldeinterlace, bob, etc) and this is not the trouble, then I´ve used the SpatialSoften and it´s great and don´t make this vertical lines, so that, the trouble is convolution3D.
Anybody knows the solution for this vertical lines ?

Thanks and sorry my bad english.

I have used that filter in conjuction with Xsharping so to reduce the sharping of the vertical axis. I had to play around with the matrix for a long time to get the look I wanted.

Take a look at MSI's noise filter, it has been very good on grain reduction witn mininum artifacts.

I love "The Final Countdown" I could watch it over and over.
