Hi all,
i have a little problem with the default language selection. Heres the details... if i play the dvd on the pc with latest MPC i cant select english audio from the menu and the movie starts with italian language, that should be the default. If i play the dvd on my standalone player the movie is in english and i can select italian only during the movie (still not from audio menu).:confused:
I miss some step or someone can tell me some ifoedit tweak that i dont know to solve this?
Thank you all
PS: sorry for the crappy english
We will need a little more information in able to help track down your problem.
What did you use to re-encode your movie (Apps including version info)
What version of Scenarist did you use to put it back together (2.6,2.7,3.0,3.01)
Any detail you can give will help

Yes i forgot sorry
ok i used Dif4u 1.4.7 with RA, Batchccews 0.9.13, CCE 2.67.00.23 and scenarist 2.7. I compressed the menu with numenu scenarist version, cause i had some problems with the non scenarist one.
Since i had jerky problems with buttons in the menu compressed with numenu non scenarist via dif4u , i tried numenu scenarist in standalone, using the same bitrate that i used before (2000kbps) and then i replaced the new menu with the old one created by numenu/dif4u and then i updated the ifo again. All work fine except this little issue.
Anyway i could live with it, but i just wanna know where i failed ;)
Thank you for your reply
Well after you replaced the menu files (assuming this is non video_ts.XXX) did you re-run ifoupdate on the new ifo?
that could be where you went wrong

Yes i did it:(
As i told all is ok, menu are playing fine, subs are ok and chapters too...only audio is a bit messy
@Sfacimme
There are 2 possible problems. 1st is that the button command in the audio menu is not correct. To check this open up the menu in menuedit and choose the correct button and note the button command. Do the same with the original. If they are different let me know as this is the problem. 2nd possiblility is that the audio streams aren't set correctly in the PGC, to confirm compare the original and the authored.
