I made a menu with subpicture, button, video, audio....
When i read the menu with powerdvd, all is allright, when i want to read the DVD in my DVD player the subpicture aren't as the same size, so if i want to chose a button, there is a "decalage".
do you know the problem?

thanks

Is it a 16:9 DVD? If so, you'll need 2 subpictures: 16:9 for PowerDVD and 4:3 for a regular TV.

the subpictures are extracted from the original dvd with subrip...
the film is 16:9
my TV is 4:3

You need 2 subpictures for each menu: one for 4:3 screen, another for 16:9 screen. SubRip usually shows them as streams 0x20 and 0x21. What authoring program are you using?

Maybe i must use an onother software than subrip?

SubRip should work fine as long as you rip both 0x20 and 0x21 subpicture streams. Then you have to add both these subpictures as separate streams to the menu in Track Editor in Scenarist. When you create a 16:9 menu, Scenarist shows the buttons on each subpicture stream: W (widescreen), L (letterbox), and P (pan & scan). Either L or P may be disabled. You have to click W on one of the streams, and either P or L on another stream. You already know that the menu you ripped is for widescreen, so rip the second subpicture stream and click P or L after adding it to Scenarist.
