I have a two-disk collection, six episodes of an old favorite TV show. Unfortunately , 4 episodes are on Disc 1 (totaling 5.9 MB) and 2 episodes are on Disc 2 (totaling 3.3 MB). So if I back up Disc 1, it will require serious compression to fit on a DVD-R, and Disc 2 will under-utilize the space on a DVD-R. Fortunately, each episode appears to be fully contained in separate VOB files.

Is there a tool to re-author both discs so that 3 episodes are on each of two DVD-R's? If so, could someone give me some guidance on how to use that tool to accomplish this? I'm a little beyond a novice at DVD-authoring, but I'm not up so speed on editing the contents of IFO and VOB files.

I was wondering the same thing. I have some DVDs that have 5 episodes on one disc and spread out over 5 discs. What I want to do is put 4 episodes on each disk stripping the 5 episode on each disc. That will come out to 6 discs with one episode remaine. Now is there away to duplicate the menu so that the 6th and 7th disc (the one remaining episode) will have the same looking menus.
