alrighty... heres my problem... i'm trying to try out all of the new rv10 gui's.... but i have a problem.... with every gui i try... except for realanime 1.91... they all crash when i open my avs or d2v (preferably my avs).... i would ask each maker of the gui's.... but i think it may have something to do with my avisynth also.... i can play back the avs in mpc but then after i close the file... it crashes mpc...
loadplugin("c:\mpeg2dec3\mpeg2dec3dg.dll")
import("F:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5\plugins\mfToon-v0.52.avs")
mpeg2source("ep1.d2v")
Telecide(order=1,guide=1,post=2,vthresh=20)
decimate()
crop(2,0,716,480)
mftoon()
trim(15000, -500)
it plays back alright in mpc... it only crashes when i close mpc or close the file.... also... realanime 1.91 works fine.... it opens the avs file just fine... and encodes it great.... but i want to use hfe and eslyan.... i try to open it in gordian knot... and it gives me a french error... something about an access violation.... then it lets me see it... then when i close gordian knot it gives me another acess violation.... i've give yall the log files... but i can't seem to find them

Yehoo!!!! RealAnime 1.91 roxxors :D
You can update the erv4.dll with the lastest RV10 and use reg tweaks. Don't forget to update producer also, there is an FPS issue with the one bundeled (for the new RC).

it's an avisynth problem.
try to reinstall latest avisynth 2.5.5 version and update your yv12 codec.
Bye.

okay.... well.... i reinstalled avisynth 2.5.5... but i wasn't sure what my yv12 codec was.... so i reinstalled a new ffdshow... that fixed the problem i had with mpc crashing after i closed it.... but autorv10 still crashes..... any other ideas.... or could you help me find a good yv12 codec

okay... over closer examination..... i've gotten that last post to work out for me... every gui but autorv10 is working now.... problem is.... i did serbers advice and manually put them into realanime 1.91.... eslyan and hfe2.... this is not a problem except for the use of the reg file with elsyan.... how do i get this back out?

RealAnime 1.91 doesn't work after the manual updates?
Here what to do:
1) Desinstall RealAnime and delete the folder in Program Files
2) Install RealAnime 1.91 again.
3) Go to: https://helixcommunity.org/project/showfiles.php?group_id=50
4) Download producer commandline 10.0.0.545
5) Download producer 10.0.0.545 SDK (for AAC and HE-AAC)
6) Delete the content of "producer" folder in RealAnime
7) Extract new commandline in "producer" folder
8) Add HE-AAC and AAC codec in "producer\codecs" (from SDK)
9) Modify "job.dat" to add RC (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=71022) features you want
10) Enjoy :D

thank you serber.... you seem to be king of this forum....
i sometimes need a lil handholding... i just used rmfactory to make a real video encode... but it was tricky not knowing french.... lol... i'll try with realanime for now to do this... i've never edited a job file before.... but i'll give it a try.... i'm not even sure what a rate control is either lol.... i just wanted to use it cuz it was new and i was hoping it would make my "witch hunter robin" encodes better.... i'll keep reading the readme's to figure out what i should set the settings to get the best outcome.... anything you would suggest?

First, it's Sirber :p
Second, here's my settings:
500kbps total
HE-AAC @ 64kbps
New Rate Control
Boost low: 10%
Currently using these settings on: Naruto, One Piece, Gilgamesh
Of cource, the bitrate used is up to you :) With 450kbps, I get ~75MB. With 500kbps, around 85MB and at 600, ~100MB.

lol.... so i go to the rot of my drive and go to the temp rpjf file.... i edited i think to do what i wanted it to do... lol... i guess i'll know when i try to encode... but thats just is... how do i encode?

nope
you have to edit "job.dat" as explained above. The temp file is automaticly created from job.dat with the needed settings and start producer. You have no time to edit it before producer start :)

Why copying everything? You'll just get more troubles. Just fellow the steps or wlse you'll get a broken producer.

i like to use ogg audio... so i guess that part doesn't really matter... i'm just using mkv in the long run... but its working so far really good... i'm making a comparison of with hfe2 and without.... thanks for all of your help.... it looks beautiful.... and compression is hella good!!! :)
