Hello,
I have a .OGM video that I am having problems playing.
I load the file into graphedit, I get a Ogg Splitter, but no output pins. I thought I had all the proper codecs installed, but I guess not.
The only info I get from GSpot is:
Stat: RIFF/CDXA -> Ogg Media
Stream Type and A/V Interleave: application/x-ogg
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum.
I have Googled this problem quite a bit, but just can't figure out what I am missing. Never had a problem playing Ogg Media before.
Thanks for your help.

welcome to doom9!
i assume you tested it with the ogg/ogm filter from tobias waldvogel?
if yes than also try to play the file in gabests media player classic, it uses an own ogm splitter inside

Yes, that is installed.
>if yes than also try to play the file in gabests media player classic,
Ok, I just tried that. The program immediately exits, w/o hesitation.
Thanks anyways.

maybe you can save the data with trying to demux the streams with the available OGM tools...
as gspot reports "cdxa" its maybe a XCD file, with the ogm extension. install gabests or avihs xcd filter and try if you can play it now
if not its maybe still worth trying to feed it to the available xcd extractor tools...

Hello,
I am not having any luck find the utils that you mentioned. To clarify my previous post, I found the Media Player Classic, but it crashed when I went to play the video.
> avihs
Dont know what this program is. Some kind of AVI player?
Thanks for your help.

Maybe mkvmerge (http://mkvmerge.matroska.org) can open it ?

Ok, I tried the MKVMerge utility, downloaded from the link, thanks. That didn't work. I already have your Matroska Pack installed. I tried the 0.8.8 version.
Thank you for your help.
