@Forum,

I'm a little bit confused about RV10.

Too many GUI and too many patches :(

Can someone suggest me which GUI is suitable for regular
movie (not anime) and is there any GUI which have "one-click"
solution like AutoGK?

Thank you.

i would like to see a simple gui with only encoding options and not trying to do everything, very much like nic programs. i would like to get the producer apps and all the updates bundled with it. i liked HPG but i think it is outdated now.

ookzdvd check out easy realmedia. its a fairly simple straightforward program, but im not sure if it uses all the rv10 improvements that autorv10 uses. hopefully a rv10 expert will chime in here.

guys, be happy about that there are many guis! would you prefer one gui, but a crap one?

codecs like xvid, divx5 only give you one gui, anyone ever compliant about that?

divx or xvid don't give us gui : it's only a common settings gui if you want

but to encode you need a soft which call the codec like virtualdub, flaskmpeg or anothers.....

and there's a lot of soft to encode... ;-))

erm... that counts as contradiction, first you say you wouldn't want to have only 1 gui, but then you say xvid etc have 1 gui and it's ok... what is your point exactly?

:rolleyes:
my point is that its funny to see that people are happy if only 1 gui exists, but unhappy if they have the freedom of choice

doesnt make much sense for me ;)

I believe the latest version 1.62 does make use of many advanced rv10 features like cutoff quat, new RC etc...

yeah... if i can figure it out... i want to use eslyan..... but i'm stuck with realanime 1.91 because i can't quite figure out how to use the other gui's or they crash all the time because their all early alphas... anyone suggest a gui that uses the new features but is somewhat cleaned up?

The RealVideo 10 encoder and Producer 10 can now be considered stable and complete. There will be upgrades and improvements, but we are happy with the current quality.

Regarding the number of GUIs: there are many, that's true, but most have their favorite. Just try out the ones with the most recent development and see which you like best. I have tried to keep my RealVideo info thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=73035) up to date with which GUIs support the latest features. It would perhaps be better if there was more collaboration on just one GUI, but so far, I think only YS RealAnime is open source (Delphi).

D-C is finalizing his AutoRV10. This is the GUI I am most familiar with. It supports the Elysian features, and requires very few clicks.. If you go to his thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=29077), and download the alpha and alphafix, it already works pretty well.

@forum,

Thank you for your positive reply :)

To be honest, I'm happy with availibility of lots GUI too :)

Maybe the moderator can start new thread which contain about
features for most of popular GUI so newbie people can find which
one is suitable for him.

Keep good working! :)

@ookzDVD

I'm currently building a forum to help developing more GUIs and debug existing ones. It's a litle like doom9, but more focused on dev.
