Hi,

I captured a 108 minutes avi using huffy from a hi8 video camera. It has a 720x576 resoluation, audio is 48khz, PAL, codec convert to YUY2. I then use CCE version 2.67.00.23 to convert it to DVD one pass variable bit MPEG2 from 2000Kbps to 5500kbps. The video looks great on my TV and audio is fine for the first 15 minutes, then it slowly gets out of sync. Does any of you experience this problem before ? Am I doing something wrong with CCE ? How can I get CCE to produce a proper mpeg2 file ?

Please, help.

Thanks in advance.

What did you use to author/multiplex video and audio? Did you create a DVD?

I used bbMPEG to multiplex to mpeg and TMPGenc DVD Author to author my mpeg2 file and play it back on my set top dvd player which connects to my wide screen tv. Playback has lip sync problem when playing back both on my tv and on my computer.

Thanks.

Don't use bbMPEG. Just feed video and audio into TMPGenc DVD Author separately and let it do the multiplexing.

Tried that late last night. Simply feeding my video and audio into TMPGenc DVD Author separately and let it do the multiplexing and audio is still slowly getting out of sync.

I'm moving this to DVD authoring as it isn't related to CCE anymore.
