I was wondering if there is a way to customize the type of capture you want to do. For example, the default choices for DVD capture are high quality MPEG2 (720x480, 8000kbps) or extended play MPEG2 (352x240 1.8kbps). It'd be good if I could capture straight to 352x240 MPEG1 with 48 khz sound for DVD. There's a VCD profile, but that's 44.1khz and I don't wanna convert. There's lots o' numbers in registry profiles, the hell if I know how to manipulate them correctly.
Also, any tweaks for this software? Already familiar with the powervcr registry, I snooped around the powerproducer registry to look for common grounds for "hacking". For example:
"CapAutoCutVCD" = 600
"CapAutoCutDVD" = 3596
I assume this cuts VCD's up in 600 mb chunks (so change to almost 800) and DVDs to 3596mb chunks (not sure what to change this to). If you can confirm this, and if you know any other tweaks please post them here
