Wonder if anyone can help. Just set up new PC with Pioneer 107 dual format writer. I use shrink to compress and rip the dvd when it goes to burn it, i get an error saying that the drive is looking for DVD+r and doesn't recognise the disk that's in the drive. I then go into nero 6 and burn from there and it's fine. DVD decrypter has no problem. I have tried shrink 3.1.5 but went back to 3.1.
Could it be because there isn't a perminent region yet set to the DVD drive? Would appreciate any help.

I had Any Dvd install and set to automatically load when the PC boots up. Turned this off and did a couple of dvd's without the error. Hopefully this is what it was, but will keep an eye on it.
Still have the problem with Shrink did one disk last night ok but then went on to another and still came up saying it didn't recognise the disk and was looking for DVD+r. Burn with Nero OK, installed the newest version of shrink and enabled burn with Nero
Help it's driving me nuts

If DVDdecrypter works then you can rip the DVD in DVDdecrypter file mode and open the ripped files from your hard drive with DVDShrink.

Ronny thanks for your reply. I noticed that my ASPI layer wasn't installed so updated this, Nero version was OEM version, uninstalled this and installed a full version and using newest version of shrink. Copied film already on my harddrive last night but haven't let shrink back up then start the burn yet as only finished phaffing around last night. However even when i was using nero it was looking for a dvd=r disk when it does both. So I'm hoping this is it sorted otherwise back to the drawing board.
