DVD Decryptor burning Ritek G04 at 2x?

I set DVD Decryptor 3.2.1 to Max speed and its only burning at 2x ...I wonder why it would do that? I've burned these Ridata Ritek G04's at 4X before. I have a NEC 1300A drive with one of Herier's firmware hacks.

What speed does DVD Decryptor say the discs are rated at? Use the same drive and discs, mine says 3.9x I think, but they burn at 4x.

If you set it to 'max' it'll burn at the maximum the drive wants to burn at. It's totally controlled by the drive.

Old versions may report 3.9x. The new ones shouldnt.

I think maybe the disk was bad or something...it wasn't playable at all :(

I got a A05 and it burns at 2x even if i put 4x on my G04.

Sad story.
