Hi everyone!

Does anybody know anything positive/negative regarding Samsung HT-DB750M and JVC XV-NP1SL?

According to press-releases both are supposed to play DivX-movies, but I failed to find any further details or customer feedback.

If you are familiar with these models, could you share the experience?

Thanks in advance!

Interesting!

I wondered about the Mpeg4 playback capabilities of the Panasonic DMR-E100 (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=71470). But as yet have not received an response!

Lets hope you have more luck!

Cheers

I'm also courious about Thomson DTH 233 (DivX), it looks very pretty,
with reasonable price.

AFAIK the JVC XV-NP1SL supports only mpeg-4 simple profile and is not able to play avi files.
There are others from jvc who can - the XV-N315/316.
They are using the ESS Vibratto II chipset.
