Can someone please clarify this for me ,my undersatnding is caps from tv are interlaced and copies of dvds etc are progressive . Is this correct . What about satellite tv and digital cable . Thanks

No, this is not correct. TV caps can be interlaced or progressive, and also DVD's can be interlaced or progressive. About COPIES of DVD's it is depend who make the copy;) . Satelite TV or digital cable it doesn't matter.
