Hi,

I have some mpegs, that are over 1.5 gigs i made from some home video footage,

will they be able to be burned to DVD-R??

Yeah, you know, you can fit 4.3 gig in a DVD-R.

I'm assuming now that I can make VOBs that are over 1 gig in size

or otherwise your saying that my dvd authoring program will take care of that for me.

If your running winxp(ntfs format) you can make a 8gb vob if you want(might have problems playing it on pc), but any authoring app will split it to 1gb junks.
