im about to ask a question that that the first reaction is why the hell you tring to use the most complicate program , go and use dvdshrink.
well im just want to try it and learn how to use it .

so the question is , i downloaded all the program in order to use maestro but at the first step of the guide it said to import media asset which i notice is m2v , ac3 and all kind of files which i dont now how to create .
im guessing i need to change the vob files into m2v files and all kind of that , is there a pre guide for the maestro something that i need to do before the maestro ? please advise though its a someone who is clules question.

thanx

Before authoring, you have to de-multiplex (demux) the source files into elementary streams (audio and video). MPEG-2 video would have an extension .m2v, AC-3 (Dolby Digital) audio - .ac3. Some of the programs used for that are VobEdit, TMPGEnc, ReJig. It's a simplest operation, read the guides and/or search for the word "demultiplex".

Alternatively, go ahead and use DVD Shrink, it's a great program, too.

MODs might move this into Newbies forum.
