Hello,
I want to covert a .wav 23.97fps file to a AC3 25.00fps file :)
I am using BeSweet GUI v0.6 to try and do this :p
I am running in the Wizard mode in BeSweet GUI v0.6.
This is whats happening,
I open the 23.97fps .wav file in BeSweet GUI v0.6 :)
Tell it to output to a AC3 file.
Use Stereo sound.
Use Bitrate of 384kbps, is that ok ? i have no idea it just selected 384kbps by itself.
Select the option for NTSC > PAL (23.97fps to 25.00fps)
Click on GO and a notepad file opens called BeSweet and thats it ??
How do i make this program work ?
Cheers

read the FAQs (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?threadid=15738), mabe somethings missing in your installation -> maybe besweet.exe itself??? ;)
send log file!

Read that FAQ and i am still unsure what to do :confused:
I just download this one file called "BeSweetGUI v0.6", extracted it to my c:\ and run it. I use the wizard, select all the settings i need, click GO and i just get a notepad file open and thats it :confused:
Is there another program out there that will allow me to covert a 23.97fps .wav file to 25.00fps .wav file :confused:

again:
something is missing:
-> maybe besweet.exe itself???
this GraficalUserInterface needs the program besweet 1.4 final (http://) + Version 1.5b26 (http://) as "engine".
Advice: I would use BesweetGUI-0.7b4 instead of 0.6 (http://) because of more functions!
also see this temp. link (http://daphy.unas.cz/?dir=files/audio/besweet/)!
Question: have downloaded and installed those files? If not read the FAQ closer ;)

Ok i have download,
besweet 1.4 final
Version 1.5b26
BesweetGUI-0.7b4
I exctrated them all files to this folder C:\besweetv1.4 :)
I replaced files when it prompted, think this is right ?
To run the program i just need to double click on this file "BeSweetGUI" ?
I am still getting the same problem, input all my settings and click go and this happens,

yep -> they are updates! replacing older versions
Just notepad opens and thats it
of course - this should be the log-file AFTER transcoding
-> no transcoding happened
-> no / or empty log-file

Sorry about this daphy, you must think i am a right fool :p
I think the place where i am going wrong is not having the files in the correct location.
Check theses screen shots, shows where the different files are.

Do them screen shots match whats this is telling me to do ?

does it work for you?
If not simply use the besweetgui without wizzard and copy all the files in one folder -> this works in every case :p

I think i have got it to work :p
I just but all the files in a folder called c:\besweet
Loaded up BesweetGUI and did not use the wizard.
I managed to make a .AC3 file from the .wav file i had :D
Gonna burn it to a DVD later to make sure its worked and audio is in sync with the video.
Cheers ;)
