Hi,

I'm trying to load an MPEG file into VDub.
VDub opens a window saying it's parsing the interleaved MPEG file,
and then (30% in) pops an error window saying

packet sync error on packet stream (834e080)

which, as I understand, means that my mpeg is bad.
However, the mpeg can be played just fine in a media player,
so there just has to be a way to salvage it, turning
damaged frames into whatever, so the stream is sane.

I know, not really a VDub question, but I couldn't find an answer
on a platter around the forum.

Why don't you use one of the format conversion programs out there to convert to another format so to work around this maybe one time problem.
