is this posible to do with dvd2svcd (DVD-R).. with working Eng subs (for alien speach)? i have done one chapter (one with forced subs) over and over and over selecting diff streams and forced/unforced and it never seems to werk

i have serached and have found some info about it but none has helped so far

anyone done this and if so HOW? lol

edit: i have tryed with dvd-rb and it seemed to werk prefectly but i got an eror at the end of the rebuild step saying to contact author and then it closed so i dont really wana waste a dvd-r on it just to see my player (posibly) not play it.. plus the chapters where toatly messed up compared to the original

I did it in the past with D2S+mdvdauth. Then IFOUpdate and some manual work with IFOEdit to get a 1:1 copy. My backup doesn't have the two branches (I see the letters of the first chapter in only one language, but it works..).

But if you want a "movie only" (not a full backup) using D2S+mdvdauth should be easy and OK. All attributes of Subs are kept intact.

If any1 cares i found a way to do this

make ISO with dvddec
use dvdshrink to make another iso... reauthor mode with 1st angle, 1 audio track and just the second set of subs .. NO COMPRESION
use dvd-rb on the iso made with dvdshrink

werked pefectly for both ep1 and 2 :D
