IMPORTING FORCED SUBTITLES INTO SCENARIST - THE EASY WAY

i had a look at twilights überguide and some threads here in the forum.
it seems to me, that the only known possibility to import forced subtitles into scenarist is to change the forced-flag by hand when re-authoring?!

here is how to make it _MUCH_ easier, just by fooling scenarist (hm, is this a kind of exploit ;-) - afaik this is not known untill now:

1. rip the 'non-forced' subtitles as usual with subrip as .sst

2. then rip only the 'forced' subtitles with suprip as .sst by checking 'forced subtitles only' at the global options.

3. edit the created .sst of the forced subtitles by using notepad or something similar.
change the line "Display_Start non_forced" to "Display_Start Forced". save.
i think this is a bug of subrip, forced subtitles should have been marked as those.

4. open scenarist and import the edited .sst with forced subtitles _FIRST_
as you can see, all forced start-flags are allready set.

5. import the non-forced .sst over the top on the same stream as the forced .sst you just imported.
make sure that you import at least one stream _MORE_ then forced streams! this is important!
if you dont have enough stream, just import a stream twice, you can delete it afterwards.

scenarist will output errors like "Error The timecode is overlapping. [00:07:33;09 - 00:07:37;05]", but this time it will continue opperation instead of break after the last error. this is exactly what we want, because scenarist skips all pictures which are allready present due to the forced subtitles, which are allready on its position.

this way we can import forced subtitles within some seconds instead of klicking hundreds of subtitle-flags for about an hour.
