Hi guys,

how exactly can I put an Xvid video-stream thogether with two wav audio-streams and a couple of subtitle-streams on a SVCD?
An average hardware DVD-Player should be able to handle them and I would like the subtitles to be disengageable.

I heard about WinSubMux but as far as I know it can only help me with my subtitle problem. What other programms do I need?

THX for your help!

It's been a long time since I've done it, but I think bbTools can mux 2 audio streams for SVCD. The ancient I-Author program could also do it, assuming you can find a copy somewhere. Some DVD players don't support SVCD subtitles at all and some only support one format. Unfortunately, there are 2 possible subtitle formats. Some DVD players also don't support multiple audio streams on SVCD. Please note that using a second audio stream uses up bits that could be given to your video. SVCDs cannot exceed a combined video bit rate of 2723 Kbps and be compliant. For example, if your maximum video bit rate is 2400, you could have 2 audio streams of 128 Kbps each and still be compliant. I strongly recommend you try to produce compliant SVCDs as my experience was that SVCDs with too high a bit rate often had audio sync problems.
