A04,ritek only 1x

i can't seem to get my ao4 to burn more than 1x , i have down rated the firmware to 1.40 from 1.41 and it still will not burn more than 1x, even in decrypter? help

This may be a silly question but your post didn't specify exactly what Ritek media you are trying to burn on. There are many different Ritek medias ranging from 1x to 4x capable.
