Hi,
When ever I encode anything in Huffyuv (2.2.0) it works fine. When I attempt to decode the video, Huffyuv.dll just crashes and takes explorer.exe with. I never had this problem before so it is strange.

Running on a Xp 1800+ with 512mb ram. Nothing overclocked so it cant be that. Oh and Windows XP Pro SP1.

Thanx

[edit note] Oh and 2.1.1 does the same.

this is the error message vbudmod outputs:

An out-of-bounds memory access (access violation) occurred in module 'huffyuv'...
...while decompressing video frame 0 with "Huffyuv v2.1.1" [biCompression=55594648] (VideoSource.cpp:1737).

LiquidGhost, my home machine is exactly the same as yours... And I can encode and decode just fine with Huffyuv (any version)... Strange..

Perhaps bad RAM memory? You could test it somehow (using the BIOS extended ram test, or better, using that bootables ram tests)..

Well I just formatted my windows disk today. :P Seems to work again...needed to format anyways. :D

Remember, a format a day, keeps the bugs away!
