in the user cp - edit options, the
"Use 'Email Notification' by default
Using this option emails you whenever someone
replies to a thread that you have participated in."
and
"Allow Bulletin Board Administrators
and Moderators To Send You Email Notices"

was and still adjusted "yes"
and seems the default adjust, i don't remember if change something before but
i don't get anything in mail a long time and my e-mail is the same !
every time that i came to the forum (log in) ,
i need to search for news in all threads that i posted .

thanks for clarifications and help in advance!

:)

detail:
is checked in the Options here before i "submit new thread":
"Email Notification: emails sent to you whenever someone replies. Only registered users are eligible."
just like in all my posts.
thanks again!

It's because you're provider refuses mail from this forum: failure: Connected_to_200.188.191.6_but_sender_was_rejected./Remote_host_said:_550_5.0.0_<anonymous@rilanparty.net>..._Email_recusado_-_motivo_usuario_invalido/ (200.188.191.6 is your providers emailserver)

@jorel: it seems your provider set up anti-spam measures at some point and they conflict with the emails we're sending out. We cannot change the way in which emails are sent, so you have to get your provider to put us on the white list or use another provider. I tend to think that your provider's anti spam measures, as others, do not catch all our emails (and I think they don't like the anonymous part in the sender email address).. I see this happen with my own spam filters.

Isn't it a bit much to ask to contact your ISP? We do have more than 52'000 members...

Oh, and could you do me a really big favor and not press the enter button so much? Just use it to create paragraphs, don't do manual linewrapping, it makes your posts extremely hard to read.

ok i can call the provider,he will do what needed!
thanks!

about the "big favor" :
my pleasure,only observations....
i use the enter key in the exact width of each phrase when i'm posting ,
like i'm doing now cos i adjust to 1024x768 pixels and the preview reply
show the exact width where i have to use the enter key to change the line.
seems that you (and maybe more people) are using differents adjusts.
i my preview, before i post, all seems perfect and easy to read
without break the line in wrong places.
for me is better than other posts that i have to adjust all the time
to see that big phrases from left to right...
i can't see all that is wrote in one simple lecture.

but i will do like your recomendations, i'm doing here again only to
show my references in the preview!
forgive me if in the future i forget and do it again...will be without bad intentions.(if it happen) thank you!

for me is better than other posts that i have to adjust all the time to see that big phrases from left to right...Hmm.. vbulletin should automatically wrap long posts so you should never have to scroll. But in general you should not use linebreaks if a software auto-wraps. It's like writing a text in notepad, then exporting it to another program.. it won't look as desired anymore.

Oh, and the text area in which you write a reply is less than 600 pixels wide, not 1024 ;) If I look at your text, I have less than 800 pixels from the left side of the screen to where you linewrap.. which is more than 200 pixels from what you could actually use.

My screen resolution is 1600x1200 and I have plans to go beyond that to a HDTV capable 16:9 screen ;)

you're right but sometimes break the phrase in wrong places and the loose the right punctuation...but it's ok,i will follow your recomendations! thank you very much!

one more thing.. the proper way to quote is either using the quote button, or use bbtags "" to start a quote and "" to end a quote (without the "s of course).

the quoting is good. On the other hand I just noted your latest post in the general discussion forum, which once again is only 600 pixels wide (or even less)... Only press the Enter button to make a new html paragraph (2xEnter = 1 blank line). Other than that, let your browser do the linewrapping for you.. it is extremely good at it.

We understand your dificulty when it comes to using english. And as such the method you have devised. It may work for you. But it actually makes it a bit harder for the rest of us. If you must; use them to start with then delete them before you submit. Having separate phrases on each line kind of takes them out of context. And makes them seem to stand alone. When they would be better off together.

Babelfish tem problemas. Mas o babelfish podia ajudar. Datilografe portuguêses como você normaly. Processo seguinte ele com babelfish.

@ Doom9
thank you for this particular answers, if i do some mistakes in my future posts, please redo the lessons or give another one new! :)

@ Neo Neko
when i use translators to help, the phrase loose the logic, turn in a big confusion without sense...portuguese is really hard to translate. babel fish give me big problems here in the past.in one of my first posts here, someone misunderstand my "babel fish" translation used and call me an idiot. was hard to correct the sense of what i posted.the punctuation, the position of the verbs are differents.i'm still learning using the hard way that give me less problems.for example: the phrase that you wrote was using babel fish? if yes, call another friend that you have here from Brasil or Portugal and ask about the sense of that phrase!he will confirm that is hard to understand cos
seems very ilogical.this is my fear.one friend from Spain was trying to write in portuguese for me a few months and he wrote: "bom gia"...he was trying to write: "good day" but wrote: "good frog". :p this is true, not kiddin.do you know what i mean? one simple letter change the meaning.around the world the people think:portuguese is like spanish...big mistake, one little word in one big phrase change the sense for complete.the "fame" that portuguese have is that:
nobody knows portuguese completely.then for me is better do corrections in what i wrote wrong then try to correct the wrong translations cos is needed to understand the language that don't exist in the translations! :p
i was clear? (just a little?)
thanks for your help and intentions!

i copy the phrase that you posted and using babel fish to translate again to english..see the result:
Babelfish has problems. But babelfish could help. Normaly types portuguêses as you. Following process it with babelfish.
this is what you was trying to wrote ?for me "seems" ilogical.middle right, middle alien.
